American Mahjong is a game a 4-player game where the goal is to be the first to match 14 tiles to a specific, annually updated hand from the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card. It utilizes 152 tiles, including 8 jokers, and involves a unique "Charleston" passing phase.
